HOT CHOCOLATE FONDUE

1 medium-sized bar dark/bittersweet chocolate
2 T honey
1/4 cup mixed unsalted nuts crushed.
1/2 cup dark rum (Myers works very well.)
banana bread and assorted fruits (strawberries, apples,
cherries, blueberries, raspberries, etc.,
cut into bite-sized pieces for dipping.)

Melt chocolate in a double boiler.
Mix in honey & nuts.
Turn off heat and add rum.

Pour into fondue dish, and place over lit candle to keep
it melted. Dip fruits and banana bread into chocolate
and eat.
Bon Apetit!

Goes well with a glass of port.

The kids love fondues and especially this one.
They are now grown, so we can use real rum.
